Polychromos Pencils

Faber Castell's Polychromos Pencils have become one of our most popular single selling pencils. In an industry where the competition is high, if you are leading the pack, you must be doing something right. Although we sell several other pencils alongside Polychromos none share the same level of popularity. So, what's so special about these pencils? The first thing you will notice is the colour range. There are 120 colours that cover the whole spectrum more than adequately. So often, customers are looking for that "one special colour" and it will be right there in the Polychromos stand. Obviously Faber Castell have put a lot of research into producing this colour range. When using and sharpening these pencils you'll notice that the leads are softer than some other pencils. Faber Castell's goal here was to reduce "paper scratching" which they have succeeded in doing. The pencils are smooth and creamy to work with. They are wax based which means, of course, the pencil work is waterproof. The pigments used are light-fast and acid free.
