Atelier Interactive
Atelier Interactive
Acrylic Paint
has gone through some big changes over the
last few years. The formula has changed from
a normal fast-drying acrylic to a slow
drying paint that can be kept open
indefinitely, making it behave more like an
oil than an acrylic. It still looks like an
acrylic once dry, though. The secret
to extending the already long working time
is to spray water via a misting bottle onto
the working paint. This is only needed for
really long sessions of more than a few
days. Most of our customers find the
standard drying time of the new formula more
than adequate. Once dry, Atelier becomes
waterproof like any other acrylic. It can be
unlocked after drying using a medium to
re-work any areas.
The colour range covers the whole spectrum
quite well. The paint is professional
quality so pigment longevity is guaranteed.
Artist's using Atelier Interactive can relax
knowing their artwork will remain vibrant
for many years to come.
The Atelier mediums available allow even more control over
drying time - speeding up, slowing down,
fixing and unlocking. You can really play
around with the paint working-time of this
range. Also available are mediums that allow
building up areas, thinning, adding
translucency or gloss. Most mediums that acrylic artist's
are familiar with are
available in the Atelier Interactive range.
